Nearly one and a half decades of freelance film production have brought me shoulder-to-shoulder with filmmakers around the country, most notably in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Austin, Philadelphia, and DC. Consult with independent filmmakers across the country on their story ideas and scripts. Write pilot, short, and feature scripts based on clients’ stories. Provide script doctor services for clients with pre-existing scripts.

Market and pitch original programming for a production company outside Los Angeles. Oversee digital media and pre-production projects, including development, production, and asset archiving. Manage teams of contractors, interns, and team members to develop production and pitch materials for investors and other stakeholders. Introduce filmmakers and visual effects artists to the company to enhance production capabilities.

Director of Video Production | Senior Digital Marketing Strategist

Foster Consulting, Alexandria, VA (2021 – Present)

Dual role responsible for:

1. creating and managing a video production department for an international marketing agency, and
2. overseeing all in-house and client-facing outreach strategies involving film production.

This role is responsible for discovering and liaising directly with film production partners across the country to support video-focused initiatives of clients within their local or nearby communities. Further duties include mentoring and building upcoming filmmakers’ production fluency.

Oversee day-to-day operations as well as audience engagement analysis for a news series covering developments in digital marketing technology and online communications for an executive and entrepreneurial audience. This role also requires mentoring junior and senior team members on production processes.

World of Marketing Podcast Series, Alexandria, VA

A sub-position under Director of Video Production at Foster Consulting. Oversee operations as well as audience engagement analysis for a podcast series featuring expert marketers and entrepreneurs to highlight changes in industry trends and competitive strategies supporting organic visibility and growth.
