Lead On, Innovators

Executive Producer / Writer / Editor

Project Overview

A commercial I developed, wrote, produced, and edited for Foster Consulting’s 2024 update to their proprietary SaaS product, Dynamic Self-Syndication (“DSS”). This project was Foster Consulting’s first commercial to air on television (OTT and cable).

Personal Statement

I am honored to have been chosen to craft this message for them as part of a campaign positioning them as innovators and creators in an oversaturated marketing agency space, where competition often falls short of creativity and focuses almost entirely on data that their clients tend not to fully understand anyway.

How I Grew as a Part of This Project

A hurdle I had to overcome with this project was a low budget. Since it was a foray into OTT and cable advertising for Foster Consulting, there were financial limitations in what could be achieved, as this was a proof of concept for leadership to test out. I learned how to become more adaptable and resourceful in taking advantage of a situation where I was given plenty of creative capital but fewer resources otherwise.

Enter the Zeitgeist

The process is simple.

You scream from the rooftops. I scream from the rooftops. You think it’s an echo, but then it keeps going. You realize it’s me responding to your initial rooftop scream. We find each other. We discuss the story you’re trying to tell at a much more reasonable volume. I research your audience and develop your story in a way that helps you connect with your target audience.

If you aren’t a fan of yelling across vast distances or it’s cold outside, we could try carrier pigeons or smoke signals, but emailing might be easier. Actually, yeah. Let’s just go with that.

Not sure you’re “story” material? That’s ridiculous. You’ve started a business or are helping it grow. There are more sane things to do with your time, trust me. Look at the other crazy people in history. Why do we remember them? Because they made a good story.
